Configuring Newsleecher™
Step One: Go to Newsleecher's website www.newsleecher.com and download the
latest version of their news client.
Step Two: There are several tabs at the top of the page, "Manager", "Articles", "Queue", "Explorer", "News & Log", "SuperSearch Service".
Click the "Manager" tab and then click "+ Add" right below the Manager tab.
Step Three: A Server Setup box will allow you to enter your server details.
Listed below are the fields you will need to configure:
- Server Address: news.anewsgroupserversaddress.com
- Port: 119
- Server Nickname: my news server
- Connections: 4
- Priority: 1
- Username: username
- Password: password
Step Four: After entering your server details, you are ready to start using Usenet Newsgroups with Newsleecher.
